Charlo breaks Bengal record with 18 strikeouts
LEWISTON, ID - A long-standing Lewiston High Baseball record was broken Tuesday in a big win for the Bengals.

Taking the mound in game one of a doubleheader was Bengals All-Star Tyler Charlo who almost couldn't have pitched better than he did. Charlo only gave up three hits while pitching a complete seven innings. As for the record he broke, 18 strikeouts! that is the most strikeouts by a Lewiston pitcher since the seven-inning limit was put into effect for prep baseball.

Bengals go onto win this one 9-1. As for game two, another big win for the Bengals with All-star Kyler Brooks on the mound, who by the way, was spitting 85-mile per hour fast balls past the Lakeland squad. Lewiston improves to 14-2 with the pair of wins.
