LEWISTON, ID - If practice really does make perfect, then these kids have the right idea by starting so early before basketball season.

Day one of the LCSC High Potential Basketball Camp began Monday at the activity center. 71 kids are attending the three day event that is hosted by LCSC coaches and players that aims to teach them skills and fundamentals before jumping on the court for next season.

Among those helping out with the camp is LCSC Head Coach Brandon Rinta, who looks forward to the camp every year.

"It's fun to see them come back," said Rinta. "It's fun to see them improve, and it's fun to see them excited to come back every single year."

This isn't the only camp LCSC is holding. Next week they will be holding their Developmental Camp for first through sixth grade boys. $75 bucks for the Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon camp.
