Hasenoehrl’s match on the 15th hole went to Ziegler at PNGA

Hasenoehrl’s match on the 15th hole went to Ziegler at PNGA
LEWISTON, ID - One of Lewiston's own is nearing pro status, and put a huge check mark on her sporting resume over the last few days.

Former Lewiston High athlete and current Idaho golf standout Amy Hasenoehrl was on a roll, playing in the Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur Championship at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club.

Hasenoehrl got two big wins Thursday which brought her into the final four of the tournament. Her match on Thursday pitted her against the University of Wisconsin's Aaren Ziegler. Unfortunately in this match play round, Ziegler went five up through the first seven holes, and it was too much for Hasenoehrl to come back from. And the match would only go to the 15th hole as Ziegler wins five and four.

Congrats to Amy on such a big accomplishment...we'll be looking for a lot more from her soon.
