Gesser is geared up for first collegiate game as head of the Vandals
MOSCOW, ID - University of Idaho interim head coach Jason Gesser is gearing up for his first collegiate game as head of the Vandals team this Saturday against San Jose State.

Gesser addressed the media on Monday regarding the team policy violations that left the Vandals short two players, one of them being starting quarterback Dominique Blackman. Quarterback Logan Bushnell will take the reigns for the Vandals as they take on the Spartans this Saturday.

"This game is a game that, if we play the way that we know we can play, and play inspired football and come together for each other, we can go out there and win this game," said Gesser.

The Vandals are 1-7 overall coming off of a bye week and the Spartans are not surprisingly favored with a 6-2 overall record.
