Former Coug Football player signs 4-year deal
PULLMAN, WA - Within just a few months, one of our favorite Cougar football players went from a college kid to a very wealthy athlete.

Former Washington State safety Deone Bucannon signed a four-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday. The contract is worth $7.7 million, $6.9 of which is guaranteed, and includes a $3.9 million signing bonus. The contract will also include a fifth-year option with the team that drafted him as the 27th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

Bucannon is the highest drafted player from Washington State since Seattle took cornerback Marcus Trufant at number 11 in 2003.
