Everyone had a good time at the first rodeo of the season.
ASOTIN, WA - The valley's first rodeo of the season is already done, and what a time we all had.

The rodeo clown was in full form for the 73rd Annual Asotin County Rodeo. Some of the northwest's greatest cowboys and cowgirls came out for this one, so let's take a look at results.

Cody Brauncher would take first place in the ranch bronc riding. Seth Shelton would come out on top in the bareback riding. Dustin Spech would be number-one in the tie down, Levi Knapp would take first in the saddle bronc. Jacob Stacy had the best time in the steer wrestling. Kayla Tiegs is the top girl in the breakaway, Darryl Compton is your winner in the barrel racing. Derek Kolbaba was the bull riding hero with his first place finish. And the duo of Justin Marcus and Andy Carlson would take the top prize in the team roping event!

The Asotin County royalty share their favorite events.

"I like to ride barrels but I really enjoy watching bulls, I don't know," said Susan. "Mine would probably be barrel racing or roping," said Brenna. "I like team roping. Everyone here is having a good time," said Jenny.

With the rodeo done, everyone is now looking forward to the Asotin County Fair which begins this Friday.
