Cheney 49, Clarkston 71
CLARKSTON, WA - We're in the midst of some intense basketball districts, and over in Clarkston, the girls had their eyes set on getting to state.

The number three seed Clarkston lady Bantams came flying out of the gate to take on the number six Cheney Blackhawks in the great Northern League District 7 Basketball tournament. Winner of this one will play Colville on Wednesday, so how'd it play out?

Cheney started the scoring thanks to a deep three from Shyann Morton, they take an early lead.

On the other side, Clarkston's Jaclyn Meyers had herself a game, right here showing her post dominance for two points.

But check out the Blackhawks Kendyl Cone as she cuts back and forth to the hoop and manages to bank it in...she'd also go to the line for another.

Jaclyn Meyers kept trying to keep her Bantams in it though, as she fakes out her defender to get inside and bank it in. She would finish with 32 points, ten rebounds and nine steals, and it would be the hometown Bantams who pull out the big victory 71-49!

The lady Bantams will play Colville this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
