CHS alumni helps to win at Spokane Hoopfest
CLARKSTON, WA - A local basketball player turned international star athlete was back in Spokane to win yet another event.

Former Clarkston High and Gonzaga standout basketball player, Josh Heytvelt, along with his team called Douglass Properties, put together the winning team for the Hoopfest Tournament in June.

Heytvelt, along with former Zags David Pendergraft and Nik Raivio won the six-foot and over division of the tournament. Heytvelt graduated from Clarkston High in 2004 where he was named Washington State's 3A Player of The Year for three consecutive years. He went on to play his college ball at Gonzaga, and is currently playing professional ball overseas in Turkey.
