BOISE, ID - It's not everyday that a player who's been retired for 44 years has four senators writing to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on his behalf.
But that's exactly what former U of I and Green Bay Packers lineman, Jerry Kramer has working in his favor. Kramer's daughter, Alicia, has gathered the support of many current Hall of Famers in a push to put the five time champ into the Hall in Canton, Ohio. Kramer was a two-way legend at Idaho, and later became a key player in Packers great run under Vince Lombardi. Bart Starr, Warren Moon, Roger Staubach, Mike Ditka, and Joe Gibbs are among the many players recommending Kramer's election.
