Bengals worked hard in the off-season and ready to go.
LEWISTON, ID - With all this college football talk over the past few weeks, we can't forget about the future college players.

And some of those include members of the Lewiston Bengals Football team, who put their offense on the field Monday morning as their 2013 kickoff nears. The team will be doing offensive practices in the morning and defense in the afternoon, with a couple variables throughout the week. Head coach Shawn Nilsson is pumped for the season, partly due to some visitors we had recently.

"It was nice having the Cougars down here and going up to see the Vandals and kinda' got our juices flowing and ready to go," said Head coach Shawn Nilsson. "So we're excited about the new season, excited about the strength change in our kids, they worked really hard in the off-season and I think we'll be ready to go."

The Bengals will practice all week and play a scrimmage on Saturday morning...the site of the scrimmage has yet to be determined. Lewiston's first game of the season will be at Lakeland on September sixth.
