LEWISTON - The LC Twins packed it up and hit the road.

Tuesday morning the Twins left for the American Legion Idaho AA state tournament. The Twins secured their spot at state after taking Coeur d'Alene 18-6 in the championship game at the North Idaho district tournament over the weekend. Now the Twins are looking to repeat the success they've been having all season in the Treasure Valley. Coach Tom Grunenfelder said he hopes to continue the success the team showed at the district tournament.

The Twins boarded vans at 10 a.m. for Boise. Tuesday night they'll be taking part in a banquet. Grunenfelder said he hopes the team will get a good nights sleep and be prepared for their Wednesday morning game against East Capital.
