Gamble paid off for Vandals

There has been a lot of celebrating throughout Vandal Nation, after an unbelievable UI win at the Humanitarian Bowl. Head Coach Robb Akey says his decision to go for the two-point conversion to win the game was based on confidence in his offense.

BOISE - With 4 seconds remaining in the Humanitarian Bowl Wednesday the Vandals were down by 1 point. Coach Robb Akey decided to end the game right then.

Preston Davis found a big hole in the middle of the back of the end zone and the rest is history, big history.

The Vandals won the most exciting game of the bowl season so far 43-42.

Idaho's Head Coach Robb Akey talked about the decision.
