LEWISTON, Id- The LCSC men's tennis team swings into their season this weekend as they battle Pacific Lutheran University in Wenatchee on Saturday. This year's Warrior squad has experience, as they return five seniors who all seem to work together pretty well.

"We all suprisingly enough get along, because there are so many different backgrounds and we have guys from like eight different countries," said senior Dustin Forsyth. "But we all get along pretty well together."

Senior Ara Sarkissian said so far practices have been running smoothly.

"It's been going good," said Sarkissian. "We've been practicing a lot and trying to hit a lot of balls before the tournament. We're just trying to get in the groove."

While success out on the tennis court is important to all of these athletes, Borja Molas says he has another goal he hopes to accomplish.

"I also hope to get my degree in May, and of course do my best in tennis this season," said Molas.

Ari Zaslow's is no stranger when it comes to Warrior tennis, as he has been competing on the squad for three years. We asked what being a Warrior means to him?

"It's great, I guess," said Zaslow. "It's fun and I like the environment. There are good people and it's a good program. It means a lot."

The team's first home match will be on Feburary 9th, and the Warrior women will also be competing then.
