LCSC scrimmage will help CJ Foundation for SIDS
LEWISTON, ID - The Warriors basketball teams may not be starting the regular season for a few weeks, but Wednesday night will be playing for a cause.

The LCSC men's basketball team will hold a scrimmage on Wednesday at Lapwai High School to benefit families who have been affected by sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS. The event is a tribute to Josiah Sobotta-Marek, who passed away from SIDS on February 25, 2001.

The Warriors will take the court at 7:00 p.m. and gym doors open at 6:30 p.m. There is no admission cost, but all donations and proceeds from the event will go to the CJ Foundation for SIDS. In addition to the scrimmage, there will be raffles, door prizes and Indian tacos for fans to enjoy, as well as halftime games for kids in attendance.
