GRANGEVILLE, ID - Saturday's home season finale for the Idaho Vandals is not the only big football game to hit the Kibbie Dome. On Friday night, the Grangville Bulldogs will have a chance to make history as they play for the 2-A state title.

This past Friday in Pocatello the Dogs defeated the West Side Pirates, who were the defending state champs, 33-13. That win gives Grangville the chance to play for it's first state title in school history. Head coach Jeff Lindsley said while this could be a historic moment, their season long plan has gotten them to this point.

"Our goal all along has been just try and getter better each week" said Lindsley. "When you do that and you're able to measure that I think by the time you get to this point in the season, a lot of times it does put you in the championship game.

KLEW Sports will be at the game Friday night in the Kibbie Dome. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
