Bantams have new boys basketball coach

CLARKSTON - Justin Jones will be recommended by the Clarkston School District Administration to be the next Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for Clarkston High School.

"Justin Jones is an outstanding leader and will do a great job coaching our varsity boys' basketball team," Clarkston High School Principal Roger Trail said in a news release. "We will offer our full support to Jones and the rest of our coaching staff as we move this program forward."

Jones was an assistant basketball coach for the girls' basketball program in Clarkston for two years beginning in 2004 and was junior varsity and varsity assistant coach for the boys' basketball for two years beginning in 2005. He has a degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University and is a Clarkston native.

"I feel fortunate to have someone like Justin step into to this position and take on this leadership role in our program," Athletic Director Shannon Wilson said. "We will provide him with the support he needs to be successful."
