MOSCOW - The University of Idaho football team will kick off their season at home in just over 48 hours against North Dakota.

Looking to build off last years campaign, the Vandals will look to make history this fall by going to a bowl game in back-to-back seasons for the first time ever.

After almost a months worth of practice, head coach Robb Akey said his guys are chomping at the bit to play someone else.

"We really excited to be playing against somebody else," said Akey. "You have camp and then you get that first week of school, so camp is really broken, but then you didn't have a game that week. You're still getting a lot of things taken care of and you're putting a lot of focus on that first opponent, but it's starting to drag on a little bit. These guys want to get going against somebody else. I sense that, I know that's there and we're very hungry for 6:00 Thursday night to get here."
