Jimmy Farris takes questions from LCSC students at open forum
LEWISTON, ID - Democratic Idaho First District Congressional candidate Jimmy Farris, spoke with students and community members Monday at Lewis-Clark State College.

The open forum hosted by the LCSC College Democrats gave voters an opportunity to ask Farris where he stands on issues such as education reform, jobs and how he differentiates from his opponent, Republican incumbent Raul Labrador. Farris said if elected he'll focus on representing all his constituents in the area, not just his supporters.

"I'm somebody that wants to represent all people of this district," said Farris. "Not just my party's agenda, my party's platform but represent what's in the best interest of the people."

Farris also focused heavily on creating a healthier relationship between Republicans and Democrats in Washington, D.C. He said it's a team effort mentality that will help move the country forward, as opposed to a bi-partisan split government.
