Sixth grader spells her way to a district championship

Adreana Ward.

CLARKSTON, WA - Can you spell District Champion?

Well Clarkston's Adreana Ward can. The Parkway Elementary sixth grader pulled down the district spelling bee title Wednesday night and she did so competently.

Ward out-spelled nine other competitors on Wednesday at Highland Elementary to take home the trophy. She'll move on to the regional spelling bee on March 17th at LCSC. That winner will spell their way to the National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.
