A Side Scan Sonar is being used to search the river bottom.
CLARKSTON, WA - The search for the body of Rachael Anderson continues.

Crews still haven't found anything in the river. The U.S. Coast Guard, Asotin County Sheriff's Office, Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office and Asotin County Fire Department are helping with the search and so are Gene and Sandy Ralston. They're an Idaho couple who specialize in underwater search and recovery. They're using Side Scan Sonar, a system that uses sound to create images of things on the bottom of the river.

Asotin County Sheriff's Detective Jackie Nichols said they'll continue to search as long as they have the resources. Most of the search has been along a ten mile stretch downstream from Red Wolf Crossing Bridge.
