146 feet of skid marks were left on the road.
PULLMAN, WA - A Pullman man faces two felonies after fleeing the scene of a motorcycle crash Sunday morning.

Garrett Lotzgesell, 26, turned left onto Valley Road from Stadium Way when police said he lost control of his motorcycle and laid it down, throwing his female passenger off the bike. She sustained major road rash over most of her body and was treated at Pullman Regional Hospital.

"There was a hundred and forty-six feet of skid marks on the road that we were able to identify," said Pullman Police Dept. Commander, Chris Tennant. "You know that's a 25-mile-per-hour zone so speed was definitely a factor in the accident. Witnesses indicate alcohol may also be a factor. We're investigating that."

Lotzgesell will be charged with vehicular assault and hit and run.
