MOSCOW, ID - A Lewiston man who robbed Applebees in January at gun point was sentenced.

Charles Reed Walters, 30, appeared in Latah County 2nd District Court earlier Tuesday afternoon before Judge John Stegner. Walters took less than $500 in the robbery. As part of a plea agreement, Walters pleaded guilty to robbery and the use of a deadly weapon. His two other charges for burglary and a persistent violator enhancement were dropped.

Walters was sentenced to two-to-10 years in prison. According to court officials, Walters was also charged with two-to-eight years in prison for principal to burglary in Latah County as well as 90 days in jail for petty theft. Both sentences will run concurrently.
