Latah Sheriff's Office investigates gunshot fatality as possible accident
MOSCOW, ID - The Latah County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the death of a 22-year-old male.

He died Saturday night from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to Latah County Sheriff's Lieutenant Brannon Jordan, emergency responders were called to a mobile home park west of Moscow shortly after 9:00 Saturday night. He said the man was taken to Gritman Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the chest, and he died at the hospital.

"At this time, there's no indication that any foul play was involved," said Jordan. "Right now we're investigating it as a possible accident."

Jordan said there's an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday. They should be able to determine whether it was an accident or suicide when they receive a report from the coroner. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
