MOSCOW, ID - The free application for Federal Student Aid,or FAFSA priority deadline is rapidly approaching for both Washington State University, University of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State College students.

Those who fill out the 2013 to 2014 FAFSA form before the priority deadline are eligible for more funding than those who wait until school is about to start in the Fall. Hard copies of the forms are available, but most people choose to do it online.

"I think its become a lot simpler," said U of I Director of Student Financial Aid Services Dan Davenport. "I think the web helps it flow very easy and we're finding that it's much easier for students and parents to complete."

It's recommended that parents and students fill out the forms as a team. Parents will need either their 2012 W-2 forms, or an estimation of their 2012 income and estimates of their currents asserts. Social security numbers of the parents and students are also required.

U of I Student Financial Aid Services is holding a FAFSA workshop until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday for anyone who may need help filling out the form
