Commissioners voted Monday to adopt the Washington law. It includes all-terrain vehicles, four-wheel drives and dune buggies. It restricts ATV's to roads with a speed limit of 35-miles per hour or less. Commissioners would like to remind everyone that there are rules and regulations that come with this law.
"You will need to have these vehicles inspected and licensed," said Asotin County Commissioner Brian Shinn. "You can't just buy an
off- road vehicle and start driving it on the roadways."
The law establishes registration and safety equipment policies, and requires supervision from a licensed adult for riders under the age of 16.
