Ambulance replacement coming Monday after car crashes into fire station garage

Ambulance replacement coming Monday after car crashes into fire station garage
LEWISTON, ID - It's been less than a week since a high speed chase came to a crashing halt at the Lewiston Fire Department.

We bring you some good news about both ambulances that were damaged Saturday.

When Patricia Wilson was trying to get away from law enforcement, she failed to make a turn at 13th and G Streets and crashed into the fire station. Two of the three ambulances stationed there were damaged.

At first, it looked like one was going to be a total loss, but it's been determined it can be repaired. Even though it's not expected to be repaired for a couple weeks, the fire department will have a full fleet this Monday with the arrival of a new ambulance.
