At a meeting Wednesday the board talked about a plan for hiring a new manager. The new hire will replace Robin Turner, who announced his retirement last year. The commission said they've been getting a lot of interest in the position.
"Looks like we received 35 applications through the various three websites that we posted on and also being sent in," said Airport Authority Board Commissioner, Chris Hayes.
Candidates will first be narrowed down by phone interviews, and then the face to face interviews. Turner's last day is April first.
