Lawmakers felt important information was not collected.
LEWISTON, ID - It's unclear if the 20,000 people who signed up for health coverage in Idaho were uninsured, or if they previously had coverage but switched to exchange policies to get financial assistance.

'Your Health Idaho' Board Chairman, Stephen Weeg and Director Amy Dowd gave a report to the Idaho legislature on Tuesday. They talked about accomplishments with the health exchange, and things that still need to get done.

Both acknowledged that information about whether or not people were insured prior to signing up wasn't being collected. It's a key question lawmakers felt was important, since President Obama envisioned the online marketplaces helping millions of uninsured people get policies, not just a discount of their current plans.
