Felony charges filed in relation to the death of Lee Pohrman.
MOSCOW, ID - Wednesday afternoon a Moscow couple accused of allowing a man in their care to starve to death appeared in court.

Charles Wright and Lindsey Winter both face several felony charges related to the death of 67-year-old Lee Pohrman of Moscow, who was found unresponsive and in horrible condition on November third in a mobile home on Brent Drive.

Pohrman was pronounced dead at Gritman Medical Center, with the cause of death determined as malnutrition. It is also believed that since 2011, Wright and Winter swindled Pohrman out of $50,000 and fraudulently claimed $11,000 in food stamps.

Wright and Winter face felony counts of neglecting a vulnerable adult resulting in death, exploitation of a vulnerable adult, and welfare fraud. Their preliminary hearing is next Thursday.
