LEWISTON, ID - If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, you're in luck...the Wenatchee Youth Circus is back in town.

This is the third year in a row they've been in Lewiston. The performers are mainly youth from the Wenatchee area, but there are some from Seattle and even a couple from here in Lewiston.

Parks and Rec Director Tim Barker said the program involves some serious training.

"Kids that are great athletes, they're kids that are in multiple sports throughout the school year or in gymnastics," said Barker. "And they train year-round so in the winters when they're not performing they are training on the weekends to gear up for this next year."

The Youth Circus program started 70-years ago as a way to keep kids active and out of trouble. The circus begins Friday at 6:00 p.m., and there will be two shows on Saturday... one at two o'clock and one at 6:00 p.m. at the Vollmer Bowl. Tickets are $4.00 for youth, $6.00 for adults, and $19 for families of two or three.
