PULLMAN, WA - Washington State University students directly affected by the Oso mudslide will not have to worry about tuition payments for the next school year.

WSU President Elson Floyd announced that students with permanent residences in Darrington, Oso or Arlington will have their tuition waived for the 2014 to 2015 school year. He made the announcement in a letter to the mayor of Darrington, saying "Oso is a small but resilient community that will recover from this great tragedy and rebuild. WSU stands ready to help."
