COLFAX, WA - The trial of Daniel Lazcano concluded on Tuesday but the council is still awaiting the jury's verdict.

Jurors asked the judge for a CD player, so they could review a couple pieces of the recorded evidence. One recording was the 9-1-1 call that a neighbor made after hearing gunshots, and the other is one of Lazcano's interviews with an investigating officer.

Whitman County Judge David Frazier denied the request, because he believes it would emphasize some testimonies, more than others.

Washington state is accusing 21-year-old Daniel, and his brother Frank of kidnapping, murdering, and improperly disposing the body of 23-year-old Marcus Schur in December of 2011.

The jury will meet again Thursday morning and we will continue bringing you updates.
