Vehicle strikes, kills Idaho Falls pedestrian

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian in Idaho Falls.

The Post Register reports the person was struck Sunday about 9 p.m. near the Snake River Animal Shelter Dog Park.

Idaho Falls Police Lt. Kay Edwards says the accident is under investigation.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim or the driver.

Edwards says the department is not releasing any more information at this time.
