May first is the deadline to present future projects to city council.
LEWISTON, ID - The Urban Renewal Agency is preparing for future development within the city of Lewiston.

The URA held a special meeting Tuesday night to highlight achievements from 2013. Draft documents showed they've broadened the tax base, and they also talked about future developments like road improvements in the port district and punching Nez Perce Drive through to Gun Club Road.

"We're only going to spend the money that we have to the extent that you don't do a project you scale it back you phase it," said URA Staff Liaison Laura Von Tersch. "You get another partner to assist with the revenues well that is what we're going to do."

The deadline for compiling future projects to be presented to the Lewiston City Council is May first.
