Troy community raised more than $50,000 to qualify for matching grant money
TROY, ID – In May, Troy Lions Club received a $50,000 grant to expand the town's only fire station.

Now the Troy Volunteer Fire Department looks better than ever. The department said they needed the extra space because they didn't have enough room to get dressed for a fire, and it was difficult to pull out of the old garage safely. The Troy community raised more than $50,000 in order to qualify for the matching grant from the Lions International Foundation.
