The 28,000 square foot expansion will consolidate physicians.
CLARKSTON, WA - The first day of construction on a multi-million dollar project is now in the books.

Tri-State Memorial Hospital will soon have a 28,000 square foot addition to its facility. CEO, Don Wee said he's excited for the new medical office and what it means for the patients the hospital serves.

"We're going to take the other physicians in the other buildings and consolidate them into this main level here," said Wee. "And that will allow additional space in those buildings that we would vacate. Plus we will have additional space for physicians and providers that would come into the clinic. And the lower level as I mentioned we will take a look at that. We are going to wait six to twelve months and reassess the needs."

More than two years of planning has gone into this project, and Wee said the design is not only efficient and aesthetically pleasing, but also patient friendly. The new building is expected to be complete by May of next year.
