Tippett will face off against incumbent Mike Grow, T.A.U.T chairman David Estes and Region Two Juvenile Detention Center employee Steve Jenkins for the May 15th Primary Election. Tippett said he's the best candidate for the job because he has the time, the experience and knowledge.
"I know how to meet budgets, I know how to finance, I know how to plan, I worked in the city government, I was an elected official in Yuma, Arizona, eight-years on the city council down there, four-years as mayor," said Tippett.
If elected, Tippett said his main focus will be on economic development and advancement. His background has adequately prepared him for what lies ahead.
