Wednesday.
61-year-old Richard Thueson appeared before Judge Scott Marinella in Asotin County Superior Court. According to Asotin County Prosecutor Ben Nichols, Thueson received 41 months in prison for indecent liberties and life in prison for second degree rape of a child. The sentences will run concurrently. Judge Marinella set his minimum sentence at 136 months. Nichols said this means after he has served 11 years and four months in prison, he would be eligible for parole.
The incidents occurred between 2008 and 2010, while Thueson ran an equestrian therapy program, for the developmentally disabled.
