The Salvation Army in Lewiston is preparing Wednesday for the 150 guests they expect on Thanksgiving. Captain Ralph Guthrie said they welcome anyone to join in on the festivities, regardless of socio-economic background or spiritual preferences.
"One year we even had a family that was coming through, they were driving through Lewiston and their car broke down and they got stranded," said Guthrie. "And we were able to put them up and have a nice Thanksgiving meal."
If you're in the Clarkston area, the First Christian Church is holding a similar feast. They're offering a Thanksgiving dinner at five o'clock to anyone in the area.
