CLARKSTON, WA - In continuing Asotin County coverage, the Stormwater management team receives $170,000 in state grants.

Public Works Director, Jim Bridges said the two different grants they're getting keeps the program going. $120,000 is being used for the design of an upcoming project that'll fix an overflowing catch basin. The other $50,000 is for the program's daily use.

"The county's received numerous grants like this which has helped us begin the program back a few years ago and sustain us through this," said Bridges. "Keeps our rates down."

The City of Asotin and the City of Clarkston each received their own grants also.
