Thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes was stolen from storage shed.
LEWISTON, ID - There is no such thing as a victimless crime, and a recent storage shed break-in has not only victimized volunteers but also countless kids.

Parents and volunteers have been working hard all year long trying to raise money and items that will be used for the Lewiston High School 'Safe and Sober' Graduation. However on Thursday night a volunteer discovered that the bolt on the storage unit had been cut off and thousands of dollars worth of items stolen.

"The whole purpose is to give the kids a great evening where they can celebrate their graduation and give them some real neat presents and prizes and have a fun time," said Safe and Sober Parent Committee Chair, Lori Mai. "And so it makes me really sad that someone thinks that they can just come and do this and take that from the kids."

Donations are needed now more than ever. So if you would like to help out you can visit their website at www.lhssafeandsober.com.
