Stinker armed robbery suspects' in police custody
MOSCOW, ID - Two suspects are in custody in relation to an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning at the Stinker store off Pullman Road in Moscow.

Bailey Westgate, 18, of Moscow and a 17-year-old suspect from Genesee were arrested on a felony charge of robbery with a weapon enhancement Wednesday morning. Moscow Police Chief David Duke said officers received a tip from two community members who saw these photos from the security camera footage.

"it just goes to show that the community knows what's going on and without their valuable assistance, we would not have been able to solve this crime," said Duke.

Duke said the men entered the store just before four o'clock Saturday morning, pointing handguns at the cashier and the two customers in the building. No one was injured in the robbery, and the suspects got away with about $60 in cash and a carton of cigarettes.

Westgate was arrested in Spokane and is currently at the Spokane County Jail waiting extradition to be returned to Latah County. He will face three additional charges of aggravated assault. The 17-year-old suspect is at the Juvenile Detention Center in Lewiston.
