BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) -- The Idaho Department of Correction said Thursday that a parolee who was wanted by authorities has been captured by police.
The IDOC says Stephen Andrew Edgeman, 25, absconded from parole and has a criminal record of grand theft and forgery out of Latah and Kootenai counties.
Authorities say Edgeman was arrested Wednesday evening while doing laundry at a Moscow area laundromat. He was wearing a long black wig and armed with a knife, officials say.
Edgeman was declared a fugitive Sept. 18 after he failed to check in with his parole officer. Idaho Department of Correction fugitive investigators made the search for him a priority after he allegedly made credible threats to kill law enforcement officers.
