PULLMAN, WA - You may want to avoid using Stadium Way as a shortcut through Pullman now that the students are back in town and a couple construction projects are backing up traffic.

On the other hand, if you want to get a look at the new Martin Stadium scoreboard, Stadium Way may be worth the wait. The scoreboard is still in the early stages of construction, but Washington State University Athletic Director Bill Moos said it’ll be ready for the first Cougar football home game.

"We do have a bit of a construction project on the east end zone, and a lot of space being covered there right now, and we're going to have a nice surprise for our fans when they come to see us on September 14th," said Moos.

Drivers will see delays on Stadium Way between Ferdinand Lane and Wilson Road until August 19th. One of the southbound lanes will be closed off while crews are working on the scoreboard during the day. The sidewalk will also be closed off until construction is finished.
