Seattle Seahawks mascot visits Moscow Middle School
MOSCOW, ID - The Seattle Seahawks mascot flew east for the afternoon to visit with a group of enthusiastic fans in Moscow.

“Blitz” made an appearance at Moscow Middle School to play some games and to teach kids about leading a healthy lifestyle. The Idaho Dairy Council sponsored the event to promote the “Fuel Up and Play 60” campaign that encourages kids to eat nutritious foods and be active for at least 60-minutes a day.

“We are bringing a positive message into the school system," said Moscow Middle School PE Teacher Jessica Shawley. "Promoting things that are a healthy foundation for our kids so they can be successful academically and physically and mentally.”

Blitz handed out prizes, took pictures with the students, and of course, gave a hard time to the kid wearing a 49-ers shirt.
