Idaho republicans rally support at the Lincoln Day dinner
LEWISTON, ID - Idaho republicans gathered Friday evening for the Annual Nez Perce County Republican Central Committee Lincoln Day dinner at the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston.

Officials from all over the state, including First District US Congressman Raul Labrador, Lieutenant Governor Brad Little and many other republicans come every year to get in touch with their constituents locally. Idaho Treasurer Ron Crane said rallying support is an important part of the Lincoln Day dinner.

We all try to be here for these banquets to try to rally up the party faithful," said treasurer Crane. We kind of took a drubbing nationally in November but we're getting back into the enthusiastic mode and getting ready for 2014.

Every year the Idaho GOP pays tribute to the founder of their party, who also created the Idaho territory. Pullman businessman Ed Schweitzer, of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, was the key note speaker at Friday night's event. SEL recently opened a branch in Lewiston.
