Pullman Aquatic Center offers childcare on Fridays so parents can shop
PULLMAN, WA - The Christmas shopping season is upon us, and some parents are faced with finding a way to keep their kids occupied while they're out picking up presents.

Friday night, Pullman residents will have the option of dropping their kids off at the Aquatic Center for a few hours so they can have some time to shop. The drop off time is at 6:00, and when they pick them up at 10:00 the kids will be in their pajamas and ready for bed.

"It's good for the kids to come and practice their time in the water, parents can get away, it's huge for the community," said lifeguard Holly Taylor.

The Aquatic Center will take kids between ages two-and-a-half and twelve-years-old. They require parents to sign up beforehand so they can maintain a five-to-one child-to-lifeguard ratio. The cost is $15 for residents, and $17 for non-residents, and it will be held every Friday for the next four weeks.
