Pharmacy break-in's becoming the trend in Latah County.
POTLATCH, ID - The Latah County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary in Potlatch where about $4,000 worth of narcotics was stolen from a pharmacy.

Early Monday morning, a burglar broke into the Northwest Pharmacy through the roof of the building and stole pain medication such as hydrocodone and oxycodone. Sheriff's Lieutenant Brannon Jordan said that local pharmacies should increase their security because these burglaries seem to be a trend in Latah County.

"Well this is the third one that we've had this year, and that's probably twice as many as we've had in year's past," said Jordan.

Investigators don't have any suspects at this time, but they are working with the Quad Cities Drug Task Force to track the narcotics and find the person responsible.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the burglary to call the sheriff at 208-882-2216.
