The Federal Aviation Administration arrived to investigate the crash on Sunday morning.
VIOLA, ID - A Moscow man died in a plane crash Saturday evening in Viola near the intersection of Saddle Ridge Road and Four Mile Road.

William Humble, 60, was performing stunts in an air show for a Republican Party picnic when he crashed a 1997 Lake Aircraft. He was the only passenger in the plane. An eyewitness watched the crash happen in a field near his home. He said that the plane lost altitude quickly and the engine was revving loudly before the plane hit the ground.

The Latah County Sheriff was at the picnic and quickly responded to the crash. The Moscow Fire Department and Ambulance were also dispatched to the scene. The Federal Aviation Administration arrived to investigate the crash on Sunday morning, and they should have an official report within a couple of months.
