PALOUSE, WA - Palouse Days kicked off Friday evening and continue with events on Saturday, and if you're a car person, it will definitely be worth the drive.

The town of Palouse has hosted this event since the early 50's and it’s mainly organized by the local Lions Club. There will be a wide variety of activities that the whole family can enjoy, including a pancake breakfast and a parade.

“It brings together the community, especially after harvest when everyone’s been working so hard," said Palouse Chamber of Commerce President Bev Pearce. "It also shows off our service groups that we have in town that benefit individuals here in Palouse.”

“It’s a good chance for people to come down for a parade and it exposes the businesses, and it’s just a good time all together,” said Palouse Lions Club Treasurer.

Many of the activities are fundraisers for local youth programs. The biggest attraction is the car show that will be held in the park Saturday from 9:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. If you would like a full Palouse Days schedule, check out visitpalouse.com.
